I loved reading this. As I’m digging through archives of my father’s articles talking about the first Outriggers my grandfather built, I see this same personal obsession with getting it right, the drive to create something that doesn’t exist yet in the market.

I love that he holds the point of view, it’s easy to distill design down to make it palatable for all versus really creating a clear brand.
