Happy 2026 everyone. As the world awakens from the holiday break, I hope you’re back feeling ready for the year. After 2.5 years of building The Stanza, I’m approaching 2026 with clarity.

I’d like to take this fresh start to share a brief introduction / reminder of what The Stanza is, by first sharing what The Stanza is not:

  • The Stanza is not traditional journalism nor reporting. You won’t find copy/pastes of press releases in this newsletter. This is not about breaking news nor industry gossip (although occasionally I may discreetly share information on an anonymous basis to give context to my analysis).

  • The Stanza does not accept inbound requests for interviews unless it’s from a guest that’s already on my target list (very rare!). There is a maximum of one podcast guest and one written interview guest per month. What this means for you (my audience): a tight curation of guests that I believe are authentically aligned with The Stanza’s values and can give you the insights that you come to The Stanza for.

On the contrary, The Stanza is a newsletter & podcast that marries the consumer psychology and investing dynamics behind the best in hospitality in a fresh and digestible way.

An update on the podcast: I’ve spent the holiday break preparing for what will be the best hospitality business show. I’m particularly excited about the incredible line-up I’ve secured, which comprises some of the Europe’s best independent hoteliers, hotel group CEO’s, and real estate developers.
